Baloy Beach

Close to Subic Barangay (suburb) Barretto is located. Once an American base in the Province of Zambales. Now it is home to many bars, clubs, and resorts. One of the well-known resorts in Blue Rock. Located on Baloy Beach, Blue Rock offers a beautiful view over the sea and the rolling hills along the coast side. Blue Rock has a huge restaurant which is all open on the front and backside. In the middle, you will find a big round bar. The menu is extensive and on it are, apart from Asian dishes, also specialties from Italy and Mexico, just to name a few. Lots of waiters in dresses with floral and colorful designs will help you with a friendly smile.

The music is of the easy-listening kind during day time. In the evening hours, the house band will play and sing live. Their music can be called mellow. Not too far into the sea, there is the Blue Rock floating bar. On the first floor is a big bar where you can relax and enjoy your tasty cocktail. Fishermen are passing by in their boats and sometimes even try to sell beautiful shells.

Next to Blue Rock is another resort where we had dinner; Trader Ric’s. The ambiance is really nice. We had to wait quite a long time but I must say, the food was worth it.
And for the rest, I guess the pictures speak for themselves.
